Dear Excellency,

Greetings from FICCI and wishing you all a great 2021.

You are aware that at FICCI we continue to re-imagine ourselves to stay aligned with global realities and a VUCA world. Towards this, 2020 gave us an opportunity to enhance our overseas outreach exponentially. Surely a lot of it was technology enabled and led by adaptability to a virtual world. Continuing with our efforts to connect industry in India with their potential partners overseas, we have planned a string of virtual exhibitions in the January and March quarter. Almost all of these exhibitions cover wide range of manufacturing sectors relevant to East Asia Region and a list is enclosed for your ready reference. The sectors range from all kinds of textiles, healthcare, engineering, pharma, medical devices, chemicals and even emerging opportunities like traditional medicine (Ayurveda). We have chosen to share these in a consolidated manner to enable easier processing at your end.

All these shows have assured commitment on virtual B2Bs which FICCI will facilitate between Indian and foreign companies, who participate.

We wish to request your active support towards these initiatives and will be grateful if you can facilitate promoting these in your industry network. We have mentioned the FICCI point of contact for each of these shows and will be grateful if we could have a nodal point from your office too. This will enable better coordination and response to queries. In case there is meaningful participation from your country, we will formally acknowledge your support during the event.

In addition to seeking your help, we are connecting with our partner Chambers in your country. However, a word from your end will go a long way in making these business exhibitions a great success.

I also take this opportunity to mention that India entering a new decade with the hope of regaining the growth momentum towards a $5 trillion economy. The green shoots of recovery post the pandemic, have started emerging, which has brought optimism towards a quick return to normalisation with a vaccine in place. To contribute to the ongoing reforms agenda and create conditions for capitalising the potential opportunities, FICCI and KAS have brought out a publication “Future of Indian Economy in Post Covid-19 World”. The publication is being widely disseminated amongst all stakeholders, including our Prime Minister’s Office, and leadership in our Government. The same is attached and we hope you will find it interesting.

Meanwhile, looking forward to your support and cooperation on the above mentioned business initiatives for industry.

With kind regards,

Manish Singhal
